UAE e-invoicing software, ready before your deadline
Issue your tax invoices and credit notes as UAE e-invoices from the system you already use. We connect Atrix CRM or your existing ERP to an accredited service provider (ASP), so every invoice is converted, validated, delivered and reported without retyping.
- PINT AE format on the Peppol network
- Works with Atrix CRM or your current ERP
- Status of every invoice visible in your system
What UAE e-invoicing means for your business
The UAE is replacing PDF and paper tax invoices between businesses with structured electronic invoices. Under the Ministry of Finance's e-invoicing system, a B2B or B2G invoice is no longer something you email: it is a data file in the PINT AE format (the UAE edition of the Peppol international invoice standard) that travels through accredited service providers.
The model is often called a five-corner model. You (corner 1) send the invoice through your ASP (corner 2). Your ASP delivers it to your buyer's ASP (corner 3), which passes it to your buyer (corner 4). Both ASPs report the invoice data to the Federal Tax Authority (corner 5) at the same time. Your accounting system is still where invoices are created, but it has to produce valid structured data and exchange it with an ASP.
In practice this means three things for most companies: your invoices must carry complete, correct data (TRNs, item details, VAT breakdown, buyer identifiers); your software must talk to an ASP; and you need to see whether each invoice was delivered and reported, and fix it fast when it was not.
UAE e-invoicing deadlines
- Pilot programme and voluntary adoption begin.
- Businesses with annual revenue of AED 50 million or more appoint an ASP (moved from 31 July 2026 by a 2026 amendment).
- E-invoicing becomes mandatory for businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more.
- Businesses below AED 50 million, and government entities, appoint an ASP.
- E-invoicing becomes mandatory for businesses below AED 50 million.
- E-invoicing becomes mandatory for government entities.
Dates as published by the UAE Ministry of Finance (Ministerial Decisions 243 and 244 of 2025, as amended) and checked on 22 October 2026. Always confirm the current dates with the Ministry of Finance or your tax adviser.
What our e-invoicing solution does
PINT AE invoices and credit notes
Tax invoices and credit notes are converted to the PINT AE data model, including the credit-note reason codes the UAE rules require.
Checks before sending
Missing TRNs, buyer identifiers, due dates or VAT details are caught in your system, before the ASP rejects the invoice.
Accredited service provider link
Invoices go through a Ministry of Finance accredited ASP on the Peppol network. We integrate with the provider you choose.
Live status in your system
Each invoice shows whether it was accepted, delivered and reported, with the provider's error message when it was not.
Works with what you have
Built into Atrix CRM's finance module, or connected to your existing ERP or accounting system by our team.
Audit trail
A log of every submission and response, and the exact XML that was sent, kept with the invoice.

Who needs to act now
If your company's revenue is AED 50 million or more, your ASP appointment deadline is the closest: e-invoicing becomes mandatory for you on 1 January 2027, and integration and testing take weeks. Smaller VAT-registered businesses have until 1 July 2027, but the work is the same, and starting early leaves time to clean up customer data, which is usually the slowest part.
The rules cover business-to-business and business-to-government invoices. Even if most of your sales are to consumers, any B2B invoice you issue will need to follow the new format once your phase starts.
Already using Atrix CRM?
E-invoicing is part of Atrix CRM's finance module. You keep raising quotes, invoices and credit notes in the CRM as you do today; when an invoice is ready, it is sent as a PINT AE e-invoice through your ASP and its status comes back to the invoice record. Invoices, payments, VAT and e-invoicing stay in one system. See Atrix CRM.
Using another ERP or accounting system?
Many ERPs and accounting packages will offer their own e-invoicing add-ons, but older or heavily customised systems often will not. We build the connection between your system and the ASP: extracting the invoice data, mapping it to PINT AE, sending it, and writing the status back. If you are already planning to move to a new ERP or CRM, we can make e-invoicing part of that project instead of a separate one.
Common data problems we fix first
- Customer records without a TRN, or with TRNs in the wrong format
- Missing buyer addresses and emirate codes
- Payment terms that do not produce a due date
- Credit notes that do not reference the original invoice or a valid reason
- Item descriptions, units of measure and VAT categories that are free text instead of structured values

Frequently asked questions
When does e-invoicing become mandatory in the UAE?
For businesses with annual revenue of AED 50 million or more, from 1 January 2027 (ASP appointed by 30 October 2026). For businesses below AED 50 million, from 1 July 2027 (ASP appointed by 31 March 2027). For government entities, from 1 October 2027. These dates were checked on 22 October 2026; confirm the latest dates with the Ministry of Finance.
What is an accredited service provider (ASP)?
An ASP is a company accredited by the UAE Ministry of Finance to exchange e-invoices on the Peppol network and report them to the Federal Tax Authority. Every business in scope must appoint one. Atrix Technology is a software and integration partner: we connect your system to the ASP you choose.
What is PINT AE?
PINT AE is the UAE specification of the Peppol International (PINT) invoice standard. It defines the data fields, codes and validation rules that a UAE e-invoice must follow.
Is a PDF invoice sent by email still valid?
Once your phase starts, B2B and B2G invoices must be issued as e-invoices through an ASP. You can still send a PDF copy to your customer for convenience, but the e-invoice is the legal document.
Do I need new accounting software?
Not necessarily. If your current system can export complete invoice data, we can connect it to an ASP. If it cannot, Atrix CRM includes invoicing, VAT and e-invoicing in one system.
How long does an e-invoicing integration take?
For Atrix CRM it is mainly configuration, data clean-up and testing. For a connection to another ERP, plan for several weeks including testing with the ASP. The earlier you start, the more time there is to fix customer data.
